I'm trying...

I'm really trying hard to get back into this whole blogging thing but I am finding it really hard to do. I have been sick for so long and in such a complete daze that my mind isn't like it used to be. I'm feeling off and I hate it. I really love to write but the words aren't coming like they used to. I'm in a fog. Maybe it's the meds, who knows. Maybe it's that my new found loss of hearing is messing with my senses. Whatever it is, know that I am trying, and worst case scenario your just gonna get a lot of pics!

Now I have mentioned before that Ella likes to dress herself. I walked into the boys room and this is how I found her playing, hospital socks and all, this outfit by far takes the cake. She did this ensemble all by herself, now who wants to call and nominate her for What NOT to Wear!

I really can't believe it..

This morning was tougher than the 1st day of Kindergarten. Sending him off to Junior High was not fun AT ALL! I did't let it show that it bothered me but I'm sure he sensed it with our extra long hug goodbye. I watched him walk down the street and then as soon as he was out of my sight, I jumped in the car and watched him get to school from a side road. I am pathetic. He's just growing up way too fast for my liking.

Now I already told you that my girls got style but who knew that she could dress herself at only 15 months!

She even put on her own shorts, now if I could only just get my husband to dress himself!

and on another note my sweet chipmunk is well on his way to being recovered. He has done remarkably well but you wouldn't know it by all the swelling and the look on his face. I couldn't help but take a picture of his sweet face. I believe I took this pic just as his codeine was kicking in, the poor thing looks soo tired..

A girly girl..

First I apologize for not posting in so long. It felt like I was on one seriously long vacation and it has taken me awhile to catch up on things. I have on occasion tried to post but couldn't upload any pictures. And what is a post with NO pictures! So here we go again..this is how I found Sweet Ellie coming out of her room this morning. She has a thing for accessories and I can only imagine the fun I am going to have with her!

It was only 8:15 and she's already got her shoes on too!

We found a "free" field and it was time to play our Memorial Day Tourney! Here's a group shot before the fun began...

something funny was goin on with the batting order because this boy was up to bat a whole lot-we need to review the books

Oh well, all in all we had a AWESOME time and we only ended up with....

ONE FATALITY!

She's a beauty...

I am still very tired but it is soo worth it. We finally finished up the outside and I love it. Here's a few pics but it will look even better when all the flowers start to bloom. We also have some reseeding to do in the lawn and add some large stones. We have a little more to work to do on the other side of the house and when we're done I'll post pics.
